I managed to locate the mall and the Eurodif--which Becky likens to a mini K-Mart. I managed to find a blanket and bedspread. The sizes were in centimeters and I was wishing I remembered my conversions.Actually I just opened one up and figured out the size.
From the Eurodif I went to the Monoprix to get a few more things. By the end I had 4 "bags full" sort of like the nursery rhyme. Lugging them home was heavy and I didn't take the most direct route. I was probably going in circles.
Here's a picture of my haul:

The rain ended and I went for a run on the Promenade. A gray day, slightly breezy.
I met Becky at her school and we walked home together. We stopped to eat Socca. I didn't think I would like it but it wasn't all that bad.
A relaxing night watching Prince of Persia.
As I write this, Dick is at Chicago O'hare waiting for his flight. Tomorrow, there will be a transportation strike here in France and he will likely have trouble getting here. I'm anxious to have him come so he can enjoy this experience too.
A Bientot.
