Rainy day in Nice

I had one class today, International Business Issues. This is starting to be my favorite class. It's really interesting and I actually participate a lot. Today we talked about energy and the "energy crisis" (if there is one). I actually knew a lot more than I thought I did. I was answering questions right and left.

When I left Ipag it was raining, but it was blue skies and sunny. It was the weirdest rain I had ever experienced. I'm not lying. Look at this picture. I took it while I was walking home in the rain from school. See that big thing in the middle? That's the SUN!

It did get cloudier later and started to rain harder. I decided to go on an adventure and see what Nice was like on a rainy day.

I was wondering what all the cafes would do since most of their seating is outside but apparently they just put up their little covers and everything goes on as usual.

Good thing ma mere told me to pack my rain boots! A rainy day in Nice is similar to Santa Barbara rain. It is cold and windy. Not like the warm summer rain in Wisconsin.

After walking around I stopped at a cafe near my house to get a nice, warm hot chocolate. I just took my time drinking it like a real french person and people watched.

Then on my way home I had to pick up a baguette from the boulangerie. It must have come right out of the oven because it was so warm and crispy.

I will probably stay in for the rest of the night in case it rains again and also because I have class early in the morning tomorrow.
