Crepe #1

Class today was again at 8:15 in the morning. I had a harder time getting up today.

In french today, we worked on some grammar topics. I was right... I am better at the grammar rules than most of the other students. Today's class boosted my spirits a little from yesterdays when I felt very inadequate compared to the other kids.

Then I came home and took a long nap (or a "sleep" according to Luke). Not good for my sleep schedule.

When I woke up, I went down the street and got my first crepe of my stay here in France. I bought a nutella and banana crepe. I enjoy watching them make it. The way they make crepes is like an art skill. It looks so simple but I bet I couldn't make it as nicely or as easily.
Yummy!
After eating my crepe I skyped ma mere and Rosie, like I do everyday.  I always make Rosie do tricks for me. I miss the little fur ball.
Miss you both!
Because there are a couple restaurants below me on the street, there are always musicians during the evening. It was nice at first, but now it is a little bit annoying. There is one guy that plays the guitar and sings in Spanish. He is literally so loud, that I feel like he is playing right next to me in my apartment. I could not imagine eating dinner down there and having him next to my table. I would need ear plugs. The other night, he played the same song about three times in a row. (If you have ever seen the trailer for the new TV show called "Undercovers"...it was that song.) Then at the other restaurant, there is a guy who plays the accordion every night. I like him better. It is more soothing and french. He plays the same songs every night, as well, but I can stand his playing.

So not much of an exciting day because of my nap. I didn't make it to the beach like I had hoped. I'll try again tomorrow.

A bientot.
